Haumana Tahiti

Haumana is a five-star catamaran available for dedicated surf charters in the Tuamotus chain, which is located in Northern French Polynesia. Built in Australia, this luxurious, 36-metre (110 feet) vessel features twelve well-appointed guest cabins each of 160 square feet. The restaurant features culinary treats from the master French Chef who will delight you with an exquisite blend of French-Polynesian tastes. You’ll savour Polynesian delicacies and love the un-forgettable “motu” picnics. This magnificent vessel also features a main lounge with panoramic views, separate lounge bar, jacuzzi, sun deck, marina platform with kayaks, two wave-runners and three tender boats dedicated to surfing activity and excursions. You’ll be pampered with five-star service and warm Polynesian hospitality. Local entertainment (pareo tying classes, Tahitian dance, weaving, Polynesian instruments) will provide an unforgettable encounter with local culture. Along with excursions to pristine beaches, world class scuba diving and fishing, this is definitely a trip that non-surfing partners or family can enjoy. The surf in the Tuamotus is world class and un-crowded. Best season for our standard itinerary is November to March when epic rights and lefts fire from the same swells that hit Hawaii. At other times, we tailor itineraries to capture South swells that produce quality surf at different breaks. Though Tropicsurf guides are on hand to provide coaching and water safety, surfers should be competent to ride the powerful reef breaks on offer.
